There’s nothing better than a floating, spinning action-packed bath bomb display!

There’s a few tricks and tips to achieve this effect so let’s talk tips and tricks!

Firstly you want it floating (see the doc on to get a good floating bomb) but with an added spin it will shoot out colourful embeds and put on an awesome bath art show. There are different ways we can get our spin on!

So let’s talk embeds (see embed doc) Embeds are a great way to help with floating, colour show and spin. Placement and different sizes of the embeds are important also. You’ll want to place embeds near the outer part of your bomb so once it starts dissolving and water hits the embed it’s going to start going to work! Besides the colour show, it’s going to act like a motor on a boat. Usually embeds have equal parts soda and citric so the fizzing rate is faster and will push the bomb along. You can add different sizes of embeds too! Regular size ones as well as larger ones to give that extra push that will give you a spin.

Another way to give spin with ball shape bombs is to make them “wonky” meaning off centre. To achieve this you can pack your bombs unevenly. More compact on one side and less on the other half. Poking holes creating air pockets help with floating and spinning as well. You can also use the embeds as ways to help the bomb be offset by placing more embeds in one part of the bomb more than the other.

Have fun and experiment with the embeds to get your spin on, you can never add too much!
